The search for an Eames Chair!

Charles Eames, a designer I worship. Everyone knows who Charles Eames is because of his classic designs.

Every designer knows his classic chairs. I have always been in a search for having his chair. I can never afford it. I'm always looking for the best deal with a remarkable price! That's why I always make that the first search when I go to a flea market. Tomorrow I'm going to Alameda flea market, in hopes that I would find my chair. Oh please, if I could find an Eames chair for less the 80 bucks, I'm a happy camper!! I know it's nearly impossible because every designer, shopper, buyer knows how classic an Eames chair is. In every interior design magazine you see, the best classic modern interior has an Eames chair in their room.

Also, a really cool looking white vase. So, wish me luck!

Curtains

Curtains, a great home decor that could play a back drop of a living room. Well, that is going to be what I plan to do. The pictures above shows how a curtain can multi-task. It could play as your window treatments and a back drop to your sofa, like a wallpaper. When playing the space of the living room, I really wanted my light green sofa to pop out. I thought if I researched on curtains, I could find the perfect one.

Same space plan as my living room, and again, playing that back drop art to really make the sofa pop more. I really dig the contrast and the playfulness.

The curtains blends in because you have this amazing wallpaper on the other side. Another color combination that I love.

Another way to play with curtains. Not one of my favorites, but a nice idea. I gave it an A+ for originality.

An artwork right next to the curtain that blends to the wall.

A great color combination and the curtain played the color palette for this room.

And finally, the curtains that I might be buying over the weekend, West Elm.

This one is chevron. The color is subtle, and I like the sheer curtain panels. I don't want anything standing out too much, but I wouldn't mind having the curtains have subtle patterns, contrasting to the green sofa.

It has a retro, sophisticated look. I hope I get it!

CB2

I love this store. Yesterday, I went to Union Square and my husband and I pass by this store, CB2. A furniture store that I can relate to. They have bold colors, retro vintage flair, with a modern twist. When I walked in, I wanted to change everything in the apartment, but alas, we finally become settled, and my husband wouldn't allow to spend more on furniture. I can only dream!
Their furniture. Love the wall.

A chair that I wanted!

Furniture. Love the color of the sofa.

Same sofa in a different setting.

The clock makes bold statement

End table cart. I probably will buy this soon.
