Working on website
Hey you guys,
Sorry for the delay of blogging. Just been focusing on getting a website and featuring my work that I've done in the past. I just been focused on my career and see what other opportunities are out there for me. Going through my past work makes me realized how much I've grown, and what I've accomplished, and I feel pretty good so far. I just hope that whatever life takes me, I just hope I'm happy and still doing something creative. So I just created a website from Wix. My lovely friend Janelle, referred me to this site. Super awesome site to put in your work and super easy to navigate. The only disadvantage is having your own domain name. I tried to figure it out, but didn't know how to navigate that yet. So that's still on the works. Of course, to have your domain name, you have to pay for it, but I believe its worth it. Right now, its free, so I'm not complaining. I definitely recommend this to friends if they need to have a portfolio. I know having a graphic design background, I should of had a site a long time ago, but people need to understand, web design is a whole different level. Give me photoshop and illustrator, but when it comes to coding, web stuff, and all that jazz, yeah, no clue what's going on.
So here is the link of my portfolio and would love some input!
United Colors Of Benetton retail store. Outside elevation. The concept of the floor plan was to incorporate the design as an International Quilt.
Pre-fab home. Concept was to make it look like an industrial cabin. 3d max rendering and used materials that are eco-friendly.

Creepy face
This is my husband's creepy face.
It started off as a joke. When we were first dating, I told him he was a super nice guy that could never creep me out. He said "Well, I can do this expression on my face, that's pretty creepy. It's kind of scary, actually." I said, "No way. Now I have to see this." He showed me, and I must admit, it creeped me out, a lot. But like a horror movie, you know how scary it's going to be, but yet, you still want to watch it. That's how I feel with my husband's face.

Apartment Therapy
So my good friend Janelle had showed me this lovely website called Apartment Therapy. Apartment Therapy is a kind of site where you can come in at people's apartments and see how they decorated their place. Of course, this is my type of site. I was checking out this particular apartment, and thought it was AMAZING!
The condo is owned by a fashion designer Sharon and her husband, whose a contractor, Chris. This 1080 sq foot coop, 2 bedroom, 1 bath, that is located in Greenwich Village, New York. They have impeccable taste when it came to the tiling, materials, and especially the lighting! Everything I love in a space.

My work: 3d max
So, I thought I shared work I have done with past companies. I had a chance to work on furniture designs, and make a tropical modern dining table set. I thought I shared with fellow readers. I worked on this in 3d max, and seriously need to play with that program more. 3d max is a great way to show clients how accurate the space will look like. I love this program!
Fixtures are from Corbett lighting. The chairs and table are made out of capiz shells and different bamboo woods mixed together to make a texture. The circles are made out of bamboo rings. All these are made in the Philippines.

Powder Bathroom
I love powder bathrooms. At work, I always say "The powder room is the jewel box of your house." The powder room is where everyone goes in. It's the smallest room, the room that is the most cramped, and the most challenged. Because of its square footage, take advantage of putting the best light fixtures, the best sink, best countertop, best everything. That is the jewel of the house.
Corea Sotropa designed this lovely bathroom.
Juvan Designs. Love the modern bathroom with a vintage mirror hanging.
Interior Designer Melanie Elston
Tiles can really make a statement to a powder room. A whole wall where the sink and mirror is located play like an accent wall.
Jonathan G. Hress designs. The crystal chandelier really makes a statement for a glamorous look. I like how the counter curves in. It's different.
I love this design because the designer's name is April Perella.

Kundalini lighting
So, I work at a lighting store right now as a lighting designer/consultant, and lighting is super important to me. Huge importance of making a statement to a room or any space. They give the atmosphere to the room, the ambience. Lighting is what makes or breaks the space. In fashion world, its like really good shoes. The look of your whole ensemble won't be complete if you don't have the shoes. So, we got this new catalog at work called Kundalini. Amazing modern lighting manufacturer. I thought I shared to fellow artists and designers some of their products.
