So, I know it's been a while since I blog. Since it's the new year, I decided to post what I want to achieve this new year.
First off, lose weight. That has always been my New Year's resolution, always will be. Hopefully I'll reach my goal weight..which I will never reveal. I will admit, I don't know why, but I hope my body will shape out to be Jennifer Hudson. I love that chick. She's amazing all around, and her body is smoking.
Second, to blog more...to dedicate more time on this blog for inspiration. I have been slacking on my artwork, design, all the things I love. Even if I don't write anything, I just want to put something on this darn blog.
Third, goals for me personally, but to balance my hobby and career. Lighting design/sales have been pretty good, I've been so bless to have a stable career and a job that I enjoy, or at least content on. But I do want to focus on my second love, which is still involve with lighting, but making lighting products. I had been working on this for the past year and haven't seen any production, any prototype to show. So I plan to blog more on inspiration of lighting products and the placement of these lights on this blog: Let there be light 24/7
Lets hope this new year I can achieve these goals. Happy New Year everyone!

50's swimsuit

So 50's swimsuit. I have always been attracted to that type of swimsuit. Last year I was searching everywhere for the perfect 50's looking swimsuit. I think it's because I get really self-conscious of my body and feel that this type of swimsuit is sporting a sexy look and not being over the top or revealing so much. That is my problem with teeny tiny bikinis. There are some parts of my body that I wouldn't want anyone to see...so that is why I was attracted to 50's swimsuit. Some collection of these images just shows how sexy a 50s swimsuit can be.

Sporting yellow. Super cute.
Minus the hair, her red polka dot is super sexy.
Dance party!

Back in the days bathing suit.
So last year, this is what my swimsuit looks like, only in red. Now this is such a great suit especially your stomach is not looking so great. This hides majority of your chubs. So recently, my husband's mom found a swimsuit that her mother use to wear. A classic 50s swimsuit! I loved it!
Look how amazing this swimsuit looks! Tried it on, loved it! Now I rarely wear bathing suits, but this suit, I can wear it everyday...just lounging it..all the time.
So my essentials for the summer. A huge tote bag (yes, found my big black bag and its from H and M), my dad's hat, and 50's bathing suit!! Bring it on summer!!

Sporting yellow. Super cute.

Letty Funky Fabric

So my friend asked me to look up fabrics...she found this cool retro chair and wanted an amazing fabric that go with it. Her color scheme is blue, orange, and yellow. Of course, if someone ask me to find it, I will not sleep or rest until I found something...so first place I look...Etsy.
The place that really stood out for me on Etsy is Fresh modern Fabric. Her fabric is that retro look she's going after and had really cool fabric designs.

I thought this look was awesome. Had somewhat the colors she was looking for, but what really stood out is the geometric pattern! Love this.
Another etsy store I was looking at is Qiana Lee Pucel Graham.
Fish fabric with the color blue, orange and yellow. Great price!
And lastly, sewfreshfabrics.
Love the lines...just would look cool on the chair.
Again, one unique pattern with two of the colors she was looking for would really stand out.
This one is called Zen Garden Sherbert.
Mingle Leaf Stripe fabric. Going with the color scheme.
Oh and if you go on design sponge, it shows before and after pictures of chairs that were upholstered. Thought they were awesome.

MOMA
Oh my love for art...Museum of Modern Art is one of my favorite art museum. I went to San Francisco MOMA and New York MOMA. I even shop there! For my husband's wedding gift I gave him a cool watch and for the maid of honor i gave her a funky cool necklace (which are no longer on their website).
But they have the most coolest home accessories that I check out every chance I get!

Ultra-flat Multicolor Wall Clock. Gives a room more color..
Table Linens. Again, I love color...

Garland light. Something unique and different you could put in your bedroom, living room..

Tower of clips organizer. Really cute and smart design to hold keys, cards, receipts.

And I personally want this. Index chopping board. It is so freaking cool!
